Employee discount at Sprint, Dell, AT&T, and other retailers. Financial Coaching. Purpose or General Objective: To process all salvage textile product (BALE). Essential Duties: Continually process bale carts per company standards Distinguish and sort out merchandise that does not go into the baler, such as shoes, purses and hard goods Operate Baler and tile off bales following all safety requirements Notify supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs of the baler Provide accurate information on any required paperwork Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, while following company safety policies and procedures Clean work area the end of shift according to 5 minute drills' Maintain a minimum rate of 1 bale per hour Work productively without close supervision Work cooperatively and professionally with all employees, participants, volunteers and vendors Additional Duties: Other duties as assigned by the Charlotte Plant Supervisor, Transportation Supervisor, Operations Manager, Retail Director or Vice President of Retail and Donated Goods. RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Have the ability to bend, reach and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Have the ability to carry, push, pull, otherwise move, and organize merchandise on a regular basis. May involve use of a pallet jack. Ability to obtain valid forklift license. Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
