Assembler/Warehouse Technician Join a dynamic manufacturing company specializing in lighting and control systems. This site focuses on the production of sensors and control panels. You will be assembling kits, using hand tools, power drills, and reading basic assembly drawings. Experience with soldering is a plus, as it's required in one stage of assembly. The role involves repetitive, high-volume tasks, typically completed while seated at a workstation. You will also conduct pre and post-assembly functions, including product testing and repairing electrical products to ensure they meet written specifications. Collaboration with management is crucial to ensure products meet customer requirements and delivery dates. Responsibilities Assemble and program devices according to predetermined specifications. Install components, units, subassemblies, and wiring assemblies using electronic materials and electrical equipment. Inspect and test products, assemblies, and circuits for correct operation and record results. Essential Skills At least 3 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience with an electronics manufacturing company. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electronic assembly equipment. Ability to read and interpret basic assembly drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with soldering is a plus. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Work Environment This role is based in a climate-controlled electronic manufacturing facility. Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with no anticipated overtime. The dress code is casual, appropriate for a warehouse setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, TX.
