Front Desk Receptionist We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our facility. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, takes pride in maintaining an organized and professional workspace, and brings strong attention to detail. The receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive first impression for visitors, vendors, and guests. Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and guests in a professional and friendly manner. Prepare visitors and groups for factory tours, including occasional tours for out-of-town guests. Answer and route incoming phone calls as needed, including assisting truck drivers who experience gate access issues. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the front office. Monitor and maintain stock levels in office and supply closets. Perform accurate data entry, primarily standard typing with limited 10-key work. Support general administrative and office duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Essential Skills: Strong customer service mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Solid data entry and basic computer skills. Dependable, punctual, and reliable. Ability to manage varying levels of foot traffic (approximately 10 visitors per day on average, with occasional group tours). Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with front desk, clerical, and filing tasks. Proficiency in customer service, administrative support, and administrative assistance. Experience as a receptionist or in a secretarial role. Familiarity with Outlook and general administration. Work Environment: The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves working at the front desk with moderate daily foot traffic. Phone calls are generally light, with occasional calls related to gate access. You will interact with employees, vendors, visitors, and truck drivers as they enter the facility. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Folsom, CA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
