Summary: The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Company's adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures. Key duties include conducting new hire and due diligence reviews, overseeing compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Title 31, and the Company's Compliance and AML Plans, managing the regulatory compliance calendar, and preparing required regulatory filings. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to maintain strict confidentiality with respect to all investigations, documents, and communications. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Partner with external vendors and consultants to design, implement, and optimize AML auditing tools and practices in accordance with regulatory and industry standards. Train and develop team members with AML and regulatory responsibilities. Support the development and ongoing maintenance of compliance policies and procedures. Conduct sufficiency reviews of Title 31 audits, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) reviews, and Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) filings. Prepare KYC, CDD, and/or EDD reports of patrons/vendors with necessary documentation and provide recommendations based on information gathered. Detect and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), pursuant to the Bank Secrecy Act and Title 31 Anti-Money Laundering laws. Assist with internal and external audits, as necessary. Evaluate internal controls over financial reporting, operations, and compliance, identifying control gaps, and recommending improvements. Attend Nevada Gaming Control Board regulatory workshops and other relevant industry workshops. Prepare and submit daily/monthly/quarterly/annual deliverables required by the NGCB or internal control procedures. Keep abreast of laws, rules and regulations of financial institutions to mitigate risk. Assist in due diligence reviews on vendors, consultants, lobbyists, and third-party partners, as assigned. Assist in the preparation of the Corporate Compliance Committee reports and Compliance Questionnaires. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 3-5 years' experience in a compliance department or gaming regulatory position. Prior gaming AML compliance experience and/or regulatory compliance experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must be able and willing to successfully complete Title 31 annual training. Previous experience working in an environment with sensitive and/or confidential information. Must have knowledge of state gaming regulations, relevant federal regulations, and industry best practices. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Outlook Previous experience providing professional communication, both written and verbal, to regulatory agents in both one-on-one and small group settings. Previous experience successfully working independently without assigned deadlines. Must be detail oriented. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be willing to travel, if required. Must possess the ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
