Manager Laboratory Medicine-Blood Bank Donor Center We are seeking a manager for its Outpatient Laboratory Services (Blood Donor Collections/Phlebotomy). The successful candidate should have a strong background in volunteer Blood Donor collections, supervisory/managerial experience as well as pre-analytic phlebotomy. The primary goal of the manager is to direct our efforts to increase our blood donor program. The Blood Donor program currently accepts over 5,000 volunteer collections in our collection facility and on mobile drives. The program recently received the gift of a van to support mobile collections and our goal is to significantly expand our collections to support the needs of our patients. In addition to this program, the manager is also asked to manage the Outpatient Laboratory that serves as the central Outpatient collection area for us and has over 100,000 patient visits annually. The successful candidate must serve as a resource to other laboratory sections and medical services to ensure provision of excellent customer service and patient care. The successful candidate will manage approximately 30 FTE's in a collaborative environment and have close interaction with world class pathologists. Skills and Certifications Do you have a Bachelor's degree relevant to this function? Are you certified by ASCP or ABHI? Do you have at least two years of supervisory experience in a large hospital setting?
