Manufacturing Data Entry Specialist As we implement a new ERP system, we're adding two detail-oriented Data Entry Specialists to support the manual reporting and data migration/validation work that comes with go-live and stabilization. You'll update records, validate inputs, and help keep reports accurate and timely while partnering closely with operations, finance, and warehouse teams. Experience with SAP and a manufacturing environment is required. Warehouse experience (inventory, receiving, cycle counts, WMS) is strongly preferred. This role is planned as a 12-month assignment, with a review at year-end to determine ongoing needs based on the impact of Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the SAP implementation. What's in it for you? Manufacturing Data Entry Specialist Details: Contract position $ 22.50 / hour First Shift Enter, update, and validate ERP master and transactional data (materials, inventory, BOMs, routings, orders) to support accurate reporting and daily operations. Generate, refresh, and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports (inventory, production, variances) to meet business needs. Perform data quality checks, reconcile discrepancies, and escalate issues with clear notes for remediation. Follow defined SOPs/work instructions and suggest improvements to templates, checklists, and procedures. Partner with warehouse/production teams to verify counts, units of measure, locations, and movements (cycle counts, adjustments). (Warehouse-preferred role will lead more of this work.) Support testing and validation of ERP/system enhancements (UAT/ISD), log defects, and verify fixes. Field internal inquiries (email/phone/Teams), research root causes, and close the loop with clear, courteous communication. Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and audit readiness across all data activities. Manufacturing Data Entry Specialist Qualifications: SAP familiarity (navigation, transactions, basic reporting) and manufacturing exposure (understanding of inventory flows, production concepts) High attention to detail and accuracy with a track record of error-free data entry Customer service mindset with strong written and verbal communication. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow standardized processes Team-oriented and comfortable collaborating across operations, warehouse, and finance MS Office proficiency (Excel for sorting/filtering, lookups, basic formulas; Outlook; Word) Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic Power Query) Warehouse/inventory background (WMS, cycle counting, receiving/issuance, bin/location management) required for one of the two hires Experience with data cleansing, reconciliations, and audit trails Prior involvement in ERP implementations, data migrations, or UAT We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
