Construction Scheduler - Junior

Position Title: Construction Project Junior Scheduler (School Construction Projects) Owners Team Client / Program: Los Angeles Unified School District – Project Execution Position Location: Downtown Los Angeles Position Start Date: Approximately April To May Salary $153,000 to $155,000 per year as a full-time employee, plus full company benefits, including 10 paid vacation days, 11 paid holidays, and 5 paid sick days. Position Overview: The successful candidate for this position will be assigned to the LAUSD Facilities Program Position Functions: 1. Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates based on LAUSD review templates. 2. Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule related reports in Excel and P6 software. 3. Create Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines. 4. Perform QA/QC on contractors’ schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements. 5. Analyze schedules for proper use of program level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity. 6. Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types. 7. Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams on projected/forecast sequential start / finish dates.
