Locum Neuro California Long-term needDetails:Location: near Anaheim, CADuration: November - ongoingSchedule: Full-timeShift: Monday-Friday, 8a-5pCall: Monday-Sunday 5p-8a, very low volume Scope of Practice: Neurology - 100% neuro related conditions caused by cancer treatment. All patients are currently or previously undergone cancer treatment. Neuropathology, EEG (absolutely required), Epilepsy, Seizures, Neurophysiology, Headache, neuro diagnostics (option for EMG).Scope of IP: Inpatient (IP) consults primarily seizures and altered mental status. Provide neurologic consults and urgent follow-ups; ideally read EEGs; and optionally (rarely) perform inpatient EMG. STAT consults Volume: 8-10 new patients per day in clinic. IP volume: 0-2 consults per day EMR: EPICHospital: stand-alone cancer center with evaluation treatment center: 60-63 beds to start (73 bed capability); 8 bed ICU (20 bed capacity); 8 ETC bedsGroup: MA and Nurses help put in the order. EEG techs to run the studies. 3.5 other Neurologists in the group that work at other clinics. No NP/PA. PMR support for pain if need be.
