Loan Processor Location: Melville, NY (On-site preferred; Hybrid/Remote considered) Compensation: $70,000$80,000 (open to higher for exceptional candidates) Status: Full-time, Direct Hire Position Overview A well-established mortgage lender in Melville is seeking an experienced Loan Processor with mandatory Encompass experience. This is a critical requirement candidates without Encompass will not be considered. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a high volume of files while maintaining accuracy and compliance. While the company prefers someone who can work on-site, they are open to hybrid or fully remote arrangements for highly qualified candidates. For fully remote candidates, local proximity is preferred but not required if the individual brings exceptional expertise. Key Responsibilities Process residential mortgage loan files from application through closing Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors Ensure all required disclosures and documentation are obtained and properly uploaded Maintain pipeline management and meet all deadlines Communicate with borrowers to collect outstanding items and provide status updates Prepare files for underwriting submission and clear conditions as needed Ensure compliance with company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Encompass experience is required non-negotiable 3+ years of mortgage loan processing experience Strong knowledge of conventional and government loan products Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple files simultaneously High attention to detail and accuracy Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
