Our client seeks an Product Owner -Advisor Fee Billing for a 12 Months project in Charlotte, NC .Below is the detailed requirement Job Title: Product Owner -Advisor Fee Billing Work location : Charlotte, NC or NYC Duration: 12 Months Overview We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Product Owner with a strong background in financial services and demonstrable experience working with data and enterprise systems. This role will support the modernization of our advisor fee billing systems, including a major platform migration effort. While direct fee or billing experience is a plus, it is not required - what's most important is a solid grounding in financial systems, strong product ownership fundamentals, and the ability to operate in data-intensive environments without business analysts. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience with 15+ Minimum Experience 10+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or similar roles in financial services Strong command of Agile frameworks, JIRA, and backlog management Hands-on experience with data mapping, reporting systems, and working with relational databases Proven ability to understand business functionality from raw data and translate into technical stories Excellent communication skills - capable of influencing and presenting to senior executives Demonstrated leadership across large, cross-functional programs involving platform migrations or transformations Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for fee billing platform components including: Account-based billing, pricing models, revenue share Small balance fees, asset-based pricing, IRA fee structures Translate business needs and regulatory requirements into well-defined user stories and epics using JIRA Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with engineering, QA, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders Serve as the bridge between technical teams and the business to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery Analyze and interpret financial data, define mapping logic, and drive execution of platform transformations Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and product demos Use tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or Miro to create process diagrams, data flows, and functional documentation Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, refine priorities, and validate features before and after release Engage with senior leadership (EVP/SVP level) to communicate roadmap, timelines, and blockers Operate autonomously in the absence of BAs - conduct own requirements gathering and documentation
