We invite dedicated Respiratory Therapists to join our team in a permanent, employed capacity, delivering vital respiratory care in Waconia and Chaska, MN. Position Overview: As a Respiratory Therapist, you will deliver comprehensive respiratory care aligned with physician orders. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering therapies, and ensuring safe, effective support for patients with acute or chronic respiratory conditions. Your expertise will also support patient education, discharge planning, and documentation to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare standards. Key Responsibilities: Administer and monitor respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosols, humidification, and medications. Apply and oversee both non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation. Assist in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, maintain natural airways, and manage artificial airway devices. Collect physiological specimens and interpret data to guide therapy adjustments. Collaborate with physicians to recommend alternative or modified treatment plans based on patient progress. Educate patients and families on respiratory disease management, prevention techniques, and rehabilitation strategies. Anticipate and coordinate post-discharge respiratory needs, facilitating smooth transition to home or alternative care settings. Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately, complying with legal and policy requirements. Manage pharmacy-related duties in Chaska, including medication checks, restocking supplies, and operating medication dispensing equipment. Qualifications: Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Care program. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Valid Respiratory Therapist license issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Ability to pass background checks and meet the physical and psychological demands of the role. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with respiratory therapy equipment. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
