Operations Coordinator Responsible for the effective performance of the Operations Department which includes Member Services, Cash Services and Loan Services. Assumes responsibility for maintaining professional business relations with staff and new and existing members. Effectively helps to coordinate Department personnel, ensuring optimal performance. Helps to cover and coordinates personnel coverage for front office coverage including offsite branch offices. Conducts orientation interviews with new applicants. Ability to perform all duties associated within the Operations Department i.e., processes account and membership opening, closing, deposit and withdrawal transactions. Performs other duties, which usually include receptionist, teller or member service rep, or loan officer. Can be assigned other duties or projects by the Operations Supervisor. Works closely with Head Teller and other Operations Department heads to insure efficient operations. An Operations Coordinator requires 3-5 years of experience in banking, finance, or customer service, with a focus on deposit/loan operations to achieve credit union goals. Provides support, monitoring, and training to ensure that staff provides maximum member service with focus on providing members with credit union products and services. Key competencies include adaptability, leading by example, excellent communication skills, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), knowledge of banking core systems (e.g., Symitar), regulatory compliance (AML), and strong analytical skills. Level of education is a high school diploma or bachelor's degree. This is a full-time unionized position with a guarantee of 40 hours per week.
