This Orthopedic Surgery Locum Tenens position is located in Southwest Louisiana Location: Southwest Louisiana (Inquire for specific location)Duration: 4/6 13(7A) and ongoing 5-6 shifts per monthReason for coverage: Gaps in call coverage from the employed Ortho Group. Schedule: TBD client can be flexible on exact dates preference is to have the weekend covered: (i.e. Wed 7a Mon 7a / Fri 7a Mon 7a / Mon 7a Mon 7a etc)Shift: 7A-7ACall: 24-hour ED call coverage + seeing post op patients in the clinic M-F if on callPatient volume: Low call back to hospital, mainly phone consults from the EDScope: full-service Ortho Call (Hospitalists do admissions)EMR: EPICHospital: Level 3 trauma centerGroup/support: 3 employed physicians + APPsRequirements (boards, license): LA license preferred due to short timeline, IMLC open for future dates - Board Certified
