Job Description Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential Join Amcor as a Material Handler and help produce high-quality packaging with global impact. Material handlers facilitate daily shipment/receipt of goods and accurately identify material received while ensuring accurate inventory counts are maintained. Schedule: 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 straight night shift schedule Compensation & Benefits: Value, Recognized $1.20/hour night shift premium (when working night shift) Overtime: 1.5x pay on Sunday's and for hours over 40 per week 401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8% Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one Paid time off and holidays Growth and development opportunities Job Description: Possibility Unpacked What You Will Do: Safety & Compliance: Act as a safety leader by prioritizing safe practices in all tasks. Promote a strong safety culture by communicating concerns to team members, supervisors, managers, and visitors. Follow all GMP, ISO, PPE, and safety procedures consistently. Demonstrate safe behavior in all aspects of the role. Operations & Equipment: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Load and unload trailers, including handling scrap materials for resale. Stretch wrap pallets for Finished Goods and Work-In-Progress (WIP). Maintain a clean, organized inventory storage area. Facility Maintenance: Empty plant dumpsters regularly. Clean and maintain warehouse and plant floors. Keep work areas neat, clean, and orderly. Team Support & Flexibility: Fill in across various plant areas as needed. Complete miscellaneous tasks and projects assigned by supervisors or managers. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen teams. Understand and follow relevant procedures, work instructions, and documentation. Navigate AMS to access, interpret, and print production specifications. Safely operate essential equipment including the tilt lock, bander, and pallet jack. What We Want From You: Lead the Pack Ability to operate a forklift (training provided) Basic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, & understanding of mechanical equipment Comfortable interacting with computer systems (e.g., reading schedules, inputting data, using email and ERP systems) Strong attention to detail with accurate recordkeeping Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines effectively Excellent oral and written communication skills What We Value: Our Core Values guide us: Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Results, and Outperformance.
