Job SummaryThe Senior Placement Specialist serves as a trusted advisor to seniors and their families, guiding them through the process of finding appropriate assisted living or memory care solutions. This role blends relationship-building, needs assessment, and sales execution while advocating for the best possible outcomes for each family.Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Family Support Conduct phone and in-person assessments to understand care needs, budget, preferences, and urgencyEducate families on assisted living, memory care, and senior housing optionsServe as a compassionate guide during emotionally sensitive transitions Community Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with assisted living and memory care communitiesStay knowledgeable on availability, pricing, services, and care levelsCoordinate tours and facilitate introductions between families and communities Sales & Placement Execution Match seniors with appropriate communities based on clinical, financial, and lifestyle needsFollow up consistently with families and referral sourcesTrack leads, activity, and placements in CRMMeet or exceed monthly placement goals Referral & Outreach Network with hospitals, rehab centers, case managers, social workers, and community partnersAttend networking events and represent the company professionallyCollaborate with SAL Management communities when appropriate (while remaining client-first) QualificationsRequired 2+ years in senior living, healthcare sales, placement, or related fieldStrong communication and relationship-building skillsCompassionate, professional, and confident demeanorComfortable with consultative sales and follow-upAbility to manage multiple families simultaneously Preferred Experience in assisted living or memory careCRM experience (sales or healthcare CRM)Local senior care market knowledge Key Success Metrics Number of move-ins per monthConversion rate from inquiry to placementFamily satisfaction and trustCommunity partner engagementCRM accuracy and follow-through
