Summary The locator/laborer position is responsible for assisting foreman and operator/lead hands in performing daily tasks including but not limited to shoveling, attaching back reamers, pulling heads and set up of pull back pipe, cleaning of equipment and tools. Required Qualifications/Experience: Knowledge of terminology associated with boring. Attention to detail and initiative to be self-motivated and directed. Ability to listen, follow directions and communicate effectively. Ability to manage time and work independently or with other team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Always maintain safe working conditions. Maintain condition, functionality and use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)at all times. Locate with accuracy using beacon to assist machine operators laying line or rods. Travel as required for jobs to ensure project management is on schedule. Other assigned duties by leadership team. Demonstrate and attain CDL Core Values: Safety People Integrity Accountability Exellence Demonstrate and attain CDL Core Focus Customer Satisfaction Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling long periods of time Push/Pull/Lift/Moving 50 pounds repeatedly.
