Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled CT Technologist to join our Radiology/Cardiology team. The ideal candidate must have strong inpatient and emergency department experience within a large acute care hospital setting. This role requires expertise in advanced CT procedures, trauma imaging, and proficiency with both GE and Siemens scanners. Candidates must meet all minimum experience requirements to be considered. Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in Inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU settings. Conduct advanced CT exams including trauma and emergency imaging. Operate GE and Siemens CT scanners proficiently (Siemens experience required). Perform CT procedures including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CT Angiography (CTAs), and Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR). Prepare and position patients accurately to ensure optimal diagnostic imaging. Administer contrast media and monitor patients for reactions in accordance with protocol. Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Follow radiation safety, infection control, and hospital safety standards at all times. Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years required - no exceptions Must have experience in a 500+ bed hospital Some trauma experience required Skills REQ:Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU GE & Siemens Scanner Use is REQUIRED Trauma Imaging CT Procedure Experience Required: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction Certifications:BLS (AHA) ARRT(R)(CT) Charting: Required, Epic SkillsStrong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and trauma imaging protocols. Proven ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced environments. Advanced proficiency in contrast administration and emergency response. Excellent communication and teamwork skills in critical care settings. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple urgent cases efficiently.
