Finance Manager (Tilray Beverages) (Atlanta, GA; on-site) About Tilray Beverages Tilray Brands' Beverage Business is one of the fastest growing in United States with nation-wide and international distribution. Job Summary: The Controller will serve as a key finance leader supporting Tilray Beer Division, responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, monthly close, internal controls, budgeting/forecasting, and decision support. This role partners closely with operations leaders to deliver actionable insights, strengthen processes, and support strategic initiatives. The Controller will also contribute to audit support, technical accounting research, and broader finance projects as needed. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Operations & Close Lead and/or support the monthly close process, including review/preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and analytical review procedures. Maintain and manage general ledger activities and support strong internal controls across co-manufacturing product and operations. Prepare and review reporting packages and financial analyses for leadership as required. Financial Reporting, Analysis & Business Partnership Perform monthly variance analysis versus prior periods and budget/forecast, highlighting risks, opportunities, and operational efficiencies. Partner cross-functionally with leaders to provide accounting and finance insights behind operational decisions. Conduct financial statement analytical reviews and review key/subjective accounts for reasonableness. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead and/or oversee annual budgets and monthly forecasting for co-manufacturing operations in partnership with department and operational leaders. Manage budget-to-actual review routines with key stakeholders and communicate trends and corrective actions. Intercompany, Consolidation & Broader Finance Support Manage intercompany activity as applicable and coordinate with regional accounting partners and corporate teams. Support consolidation activities and contribute to internal and external reporting needs where required. Audit, Compliance & Controls Support external auditors and assist in audit readiness, documentation, and issue resolution. Ensure accounting is performed in accordance with U.S. GAAP (IFRS/ASPE exposure acceptable as applicable). Systems & Process Improvement Drive process improvement, automation, and systems implementation/integration to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Become proficient with business and financial systems used in the beverage environment (experience with OBeer (SAP) and Toast is a plus). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA preferred (or equivalent experience); candidates with US GAPP, IFRS or ASPE experience are welcome where applicable. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment; public accounting experience preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting theory and financial reporting fundamentals. Advanced Excel skills; strong comfort with financial systems and business applications. Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to research and resolve issues in complex accounting structures. Detail-oriented while able to think strategically and identify broader trends and implications. Effective communicator (written/verbal) with the ability to collaborate across levels and functions. Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage competing priorities in a month-end close environment.
