Locum Surgical Podiatrist Opportunity Hospital & Clinic Mix! Burnsville & Edina, MN ️ Profession: Physician Surgical Podiatry Facility Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient Coverage Need: 0.9 FTE (36 hrs/week) + call Assignment Length: weeks Schedule (Days Only!): Monday Friday 8:00 AM 3:30 PM (one day until 4:30 PM) One weekday night of call per week No weekend call! About the Role Join a collaborative care team providing hospital-based podiatric surgery, consult coverage, wound care, and post-op rounding plus one weekly post-op clinic session. This opportunity offers a great daytime schedule with strong clinical support and a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care. ️ Patient Population & Case Mix Adults (occasional pediatrics team support available) Wound care preferred Urgent/emergent podiatric surgery Post-op rounding One half-day weekly clinic Typical Volumes • Clinic: 12 patients/day • Hospital: 5 10 patients/day (consults + rounding) Support Team Includes Hospitalists Orthopedics Vascular Infectious Disease ️ Wound care nurses Clinic support, schedulers & imaging techs EMR: Epic Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Foot & Ankle Surgery or Podiatric Medicine Active MN license or Compact letter BLS & ATLS Surgical podiatry experience Wound care experience preferred Ability to work both inpatient & outpatient Why You ll Love This Role Stable weekly schedule No weekend call Diverse & meaningful case mix Strong multidisciplinary support Work across two locations depending on daily needs How to Apply Interested?
