Gastroenterology Physician

Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a hospital-employed practice in Port Arthur to recruit two full-time Gastroenterologists. This is a high-demand, bread-and-butter GI opportunity with immediate volume, strong community need, and the ability to build and shape the service line from the ground up. This is a traditional practice model with both clinic and inpatient responsibilities. The hospital is currently supported by locums coverage and an NP-led GI clinic, creating a significant opportunity for a motivated physician to step into an established referral base and grow quickly. Practice Details: Hospital-employed position Market-leading base compensation plus wRVU bonus Traditional practice: clinic + inpatient consults Procedures performed in the hospital - Clinic located in the hospital Bread-and-butter GI (no advanced endoscopy required) Strong procedural expectations (20-30 scopes per day) ER call coverage shared between two full-time GIs (locums support in place until fully staffed) - Extra pay for ancillary call coverage Large, underserved community with immediate need Located in Southeast Texas, Port Arthur is approximately 1.5 hours from Houston and its major international airport.
