Deliver effective one-on-one speech therapy interventions that center on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing objectives. Work alongside a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to formulate integrated care plans. Provide invaluable education to patients and families, empowering them to support progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure comprehensive care throughout each patient's treatment pathway. Maintain precise and timely documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational standards. Commit to continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest field advancements through ongoing education and collaborative learning. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications A valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. A preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
