About the Role: This position offers a higher level of clinical care than typically found in post-acute or residential settings. Our facility delivers hospital-level services that are comparable to those provided on a medical-surgical unit. Our highly skilled interdisciplinary team is equipped to manage a wide range of complex medical needs, including intravenous therapy, surgical and wound care, tracheostomy management, mobility assistance, and the comprehensive oversight of lines, tubes, and drains. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a healing environment focused on optimal recovery. Position Highlights at a Glance: Average Patient Length of Stay: 1014 days Conditions: Stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, ortho, complex medical, and more Team Approach: Work closely with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy & more Advanced Care: IVs, trachs, wound care, mobility support, lines, tubes, and drains 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week + rotating weekends/holidays (with added pay) What You'll Need: RN License (State of TX) CPR required | ACLS & BLS preferred 1+ year of RN experience preferred (Acute care a plus) CRRN preferred Ready to make a differenceand love where you work? Physical Requirements Over the Course of a Shift: A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time. Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care. Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment. Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
