Credit Originator We are seeking a Credit Originator with a strong foundation in underwriting and credit analysis who is ready to transition fully into a production-driven lending role. This is an in-office position based in either Hollywood, Florida or Manhattan, New York. In this role, you'll combine your credit acumen with relationship-building skills to originate commercial real estate bridge loans through mortgage brokers. You'll work directly with brokers who are evaluating multiple lenders, positioning yourself as a trusted partner who understands the numbers, the risk, and how to structure the best deals. Your ability to think like an analyst and act like a producer will be the key to your success. This is not a broker role you will be selling direct capital. You will have the autonomy to manage your pipeline, structure creative solutions, and guide deals from initial inquiry to closing. You'll also stay connected to the market, understanding trends, competitive pricing, and broker appetites, making you a go-to resource for clients and colleagues alike. What You'll Do Own your broker relationships: Build and maintain strong connections with mortgage brokers sourcing debt for real estate investors. Originate deals: Structure and push commercial real estate bridge loans across multiple asset classes. Analyze and advise: Review deal packages, assess risk, and provide brokers with timely, actionable feedback on leverage, pricing, and structure. Drive transactions: Negotiate terms, collaborate with underwriting, and see deals through from screening to closing. Hit targets: Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently meet production goals. Represent the firm: Attend broker meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities, positioning yourself as a trusted lending partner. Stay ahead: Track market trends, competitor positioning, and broker appetites to keep your approach sharp and competitive.
