Mobile Developer (Android)

-MUST have mobile development experience with Maui -IDEAL to have Xamarin to Maui migration experience, but not required -MUST be willing to work hybrid in Arlington, VA -Can be either mid or senior level -Quick two step interview process Title: Mobile Developer - Maui Location: Arlington, VA (hybrid) Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent professional experience. • Professional experience developing mobile applications for iOS & Android using (Xamarin/Maui). • Recent hands-on experience with .NET MAUI and migration projects from native platforms. • Demonstrated knowledge of architectural patterns including MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture, and the ability to choose the best solution for a given app. • Experience communicating with UX/UI, product management, and QA to understand requirements, describe software product features, articulate technical designs, and present and defend design decisions. • Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams. • Proficient in Git with solid understanding of the Gradle build system, including managing, debugging, and migrating versions. • Strong communication, excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain high-quality native iOS and Android applications. • Lead or support the migration of existing native applications to the .NET MAUI platform. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Ensure applications are optimized for performance, usability, and security. • Maintain and resolve technical issues across the mobile app lifecycle, from concept to deployment and support. • Work collaboratively with product managers, technical leads, and teammates to build, test, and deploy high-performing iOS mobile applications according to industry, departmental, and team standards within agreed-upon timeframes. • Participate actively in Scrum activities, including backlog grooming, retrospective and commitment sessions, and daily stand-up meetings.
