Job Description Collaborate with a team of engineers in all phases of project development with preliminary and detailed design and modeling of civil and municipal water infrastructure projectsAssist project teams with the development of construction estimates, geometric design, plans and specifications, presentations and technical reportsComplete onsite construction observation during construction phases of projectsRepresent Houston Engineering, Inc in communications with clients, contractors, landowners and public entities Qualifications: Qualifications An ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degreeCompletion of the FE exam and Engineer-In-Training registration, or ability to obtain within six months of the employment start datePrior experience developing or working with construction profiles, plans and specifications related to transportation engineeringPrior experience operating industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation, and/or Open RoadsWorking knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes.Authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future. Sponsorship is not available for this positionValid driver’s license with a good driving record.
