Responsibilities Position is based in a teaching, Magnet, Level 1 Trauma hospital on the main campus Technologist will work in the main hospital OR and other buildings on the same campus as needed Daily caseload per technologist varies Schedule is 4x10 hour shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with holidays as needed Call rotation required with 3 to 4 days per month Floating to sister facilities may be required Incumbent will use C-arm and O-arm equipment during procedures Epic is the charting system used; experience preferred First week consists of day shift orientation before transitioning to set schedule Position may require floating to other units and facilities within the system based on departmental needs Scrub color is teal top and black bottoms Holiday coverage is required as scheduled Team members may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) Parking available nights and weekends for a one-time fee of $20 Initial orientation provided during first week Returning travelers must have at least 1 year separation from prior employment within the system All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application for facility approval Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate First-time travelers are accepted for this role Requirements Minimum of 1 year recent X-Ray technologist experience Current ARRT (R) and AHA BLS certifications required Recent operating room, C-arm, and O-arm experience required Trauma experience preferred but not required SCRQSA (R) certification required Radiation badge required and must be provided by the agency Must possess active South Carolina license prior to start; pending license not accepted unless approved Social Security Card and Driver’s License required for consideration License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-672994.
