RN - Registered Nurse Department Pool - PACU BayCare Health System is currently seeking a PRN/Pool Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at St. Joseph's Hospital - South. The RN responsibilities include: Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Professional accountability and development. Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child. Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Qualifications: Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required RN (Registered Nurse) license is required ACLS Certification is required Nurse Specialty certification is preferred Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred Experience: 18 months of RN experience is required. 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency is preferred Specific Skills: Interpersonal skills Critical thinking skills Clinical skills appropriate to position Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital - South Location: Riverview, FL Status: Pool, Exempt: No Shift Hours: Varies Shift: Days, start times vary between 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, and 8:00 AM Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: Yes How often will this team member be working remotely?
