Occupational Medicine physician job in Florida : Job Title: Occupational Medicine Physician Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team. This full-time (benefits eligible) role may also be available as Per Diem (as needed) or Part Time, offering flexibility to fit your schedule. The physician will focus on evaluating and managing health status related to work, ensuring compliance with workplace health policies, and supporting our drug and alcohol testing program. Key Responsibilities Obtain comprehensive health histories and conduct physical assessments to evaluate employees' health status. Assess patients with work-related exposures, infectious diseases, injuries, or acute illness incurred on duty. Provide treatment in accordance with established protocols and with adherence to Employer administrative policies, Occupational Health Center policies, and infection control procedures. Perform case management and monitoring for patients referred to consulting physicians/agencies for work-related illnesses/injuries or fitness-for-duty evaluations. Deliver medical oversight for the Employer's drug and alcohol testing program as the Medical Review Officer (MRO). Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. Florida Medical License (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Florida). Prior clinical and/or occupational health experience is advantageous. This is a full-time position with benefits; flexible arrangements available for Per Diem (as needed) or Part Time based on organizational needs.
