The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that departmental initiatives align with the overall strategic goals of the institution. This role involves maintaining an active licensure list, strategic planning for technology initiatives, and managing talent engagement activities. The Executive Director will also be tasked with leading IT sourcing strategies, ensuring financial practices align with policies and regulations, and directing the procurement and contract processes for IT. Candidates for this position at The Company should have a Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field, with at least 7 years of combined experience in budget and financial management, contracts management, asset management, customer relations, documentation, and personnel management. A background in higher education or community college is preferred. The role requires a valid Texas driver license and proficiency in MS Office programs, information management systems, and budget management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competencies in change management, entrepreneurial thinking, and strategic vision, and will be adept at attracting and developing talent, inspiring and motivating others, and managing resources effectively.
