Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Springfield, MO. Candidate must have strong capability in supporting and troubleshooting ecommerce applications within WebSphere Commerce environments. Rate Range: $41/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer job responsibilities include: Handles production incidents by performing initial analysis, troubleshooting checkout issues, and resolving orderprocessing failures. Monitors WCS application health using APM tools and responds to performance or capacity alerts during peak traffic. Executes service restarts, cache invalidations, and data refresh operations to maintain stable application performance. Investigates log files to identify recurring issues and coordinates incident response activities with stakeholders. Manages scheduled jobs, batch processes, and feed file workflows to ensure timely and accurate processing. Collaborates with vendors and internal teams to support multitier architecture components and streamline issue resolution. Required Qualifications: Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field. 6-8 years of experience in application support with handson exposure to ecommerce platforms. Candidate must have strong capability in troubleshooting WebSphere Commerce Suite (WCS) issues, including order processing and paymentrelated failures. Candidate will possess proven experience in monitoring application performance using tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar APM solutions.
