Travel Speech Language Pathologist - LTC Location: Utica, NY Employer: NurseAmerica Job Type: Travel Contract Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: January 19, 2026 Weekly Hours: 37.5 Guaranteed On-Call: No Pay Package Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,900 Weekly Housing & Meals Stipend (Tax-Free): $1200 Weekly Taxable Wages: $1700 Position Overview NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting in Utica, NY. This role is ideal for clinicians with strong assessment skills and prior LTC experience. Unit Details Setting: Long-Term Care / Rehabilitation Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift Responsibilities Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans and document patient progress Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Ensure compliance with clinical standards and documentation requirements Utilize EMR systems for accurate recordkeeping Requirements Graduate of an ASHA-accredited Speech Language Pathology program Active New York State SLP License CCC-SLP from ASHA (or eligibility) Prior Long-Term Care experience required Knowledge of PDPM reimbursement system Proficiency with Epic EMR and Microsoft Office Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
