Job Title: Java Developer with PL/SQL Location: Onsite - Chicago, IL Job Type: Contract (C2C/W2) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong PL/SQL experience to join our team for a contract-based, onsite role in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in developing enterprise-level applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and integrating with Oracle PL/SQL. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications. Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages. Integrate Java applications with Oracle databases. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Required Skills: 9-12+ years of experience in Java development. Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs. Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL - procedures, triggers, packages. Good understanding of SQL performance tuning and data modeling. Experience with Azure Cloud is required Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
