Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/07/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Medical Surgical/MS Telemetry position with patient ratios of 1:5 • 1.5 years of nursing experience required • Available shift options: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts • Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8 and 10-hour shifts, 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts, 48 hours for four 12-hour shifts • Weekend coverage required • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays • Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby • Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS • Charting system: Cerner experience required • Scrub color: Red top, Black pants • 12 hours of orientation provided • Skills required include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, total joint replacement care, IV management, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP management, and isolation precautions • Unit has 18 beds with daily census goal of 9 patients, can accommodate up to 15 • First-time travelers accepted if they have experience • Indiana state license must be in hand prior to start date • Free parking provided Facility: This short-term acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a 24-bed unit featuring modern telemetry capabilities.
