Position Overview As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment. Your role is crucial in producing optimal images by applying your extensive knowledge and sound judgment regarding imaging factors, techniques, and patient treatment. You will be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and safety, taking into account individual and age-related needs, while providing high-quality care. Qualifications and Certifications Education: Completion of an accredited program to meet certification, license, or registration requirements. Required Upon Hire: A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association. An Oregon Medical Imaging License from the Oregon State Board. A National Registered Technologist - Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR a National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology. Required Within 1 Year of Hire: A National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography (R.T.(CT)) from the ARRT OR a National Computed Tomography Technologist Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
