Agency Claim Representative

Description : Ideal candidate will act as liaison between the carriers and insureds, while working closely with commercial claim manager. Get claim numbers, assign adjusters, deal with insureds questions, etc. Prepare claim reports and forward to company. Maintain follow-up system. Review outstanding claims by following up on first party claims and special third party claims. Maintain accurate claim statuses within the computer for general reference. Requisition forms and drafts from companies and states. Review quarterly loss runs from carriers. Analyze incoming claims and research coverage issues as required. Requirements : Previous experience handling some form of claims - initial reports ideally from the "agency" realm. AMS 360 preferred.
