Senior Estimator

Our construction client is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team full-time. The Senior Estimator is responsible for estimating projects from initial take-offs to bid closing, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $125,000 to $165,000 per year. Job Description: Analyze bid documents, addendums, proposals, specifications, and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents. Perform quantity take-offs, including pricing for labor, materials, and equipment cost breakdowns. Source subcontractors, suppliers, special equipment, and manufacturers. Conduct site visits for due diligence and inspections. Develop budgets for secured projects. Retain the original bid set of plans for jobs until completion. Qualifications: Proficient in computer programs such as Word, Excel, HCSS or similar estimating software, and P6 or similar scheduling software. In-depth understanding of construction practices and standards. Familiarity with Federal and State laws and codes regulating Public Works Bidding.
