Underwriting Specialist

Job DutiesUnderwrite and manage book of business based on market conditions and product knowledge. Grow the existing book and curate an appetite appropriate set of risks. Manage financial performance of territory, including accident year loss ratio, premium plans and commission targets. Review eligibility, class fit, price, deductibles, ITV and losses to determine exposures. Identify gaps in coverage and/or services. Determine and make recommendations for marketing, pricing, products and systems.
