Advanced CRNA | Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a respected anesthesia team in the Midwest region of the United States. This role offers the opportunity to provide personalized anesthesia care in a community hospital setting, supporting a variety of patient types from pediatrics to geriatrics. You will collaborate closely with anesthesiologists in a team-oriented environment that values autonomy and professional growth. Department Overview: The anesthesia practice is well-established, covering multiple hospital locations in the central Midwest area. The caseload includes joint programs, robotics, endoscopy, pulmonary, and cath lab procedures. The team prides itself on excellent patient outcomes and a supportive work culture. Position Highlights: Full-time and part-time options available Shift lengths of 8, 10, and 12 hours No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements Competitive compensation with sign-on bonuses for eligible candidates Comprehensive benefits and CME opportunities Use of Epic EMR system Support from PA office and OR staff Responsibilities: Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans Perform anesthesia-related procedures under anesthesiologist supervision Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies Administer various anesthesia techniques including epidural, caudal, nerve blocks, and sedation Manage cardiopulmonary resuscitation and invasive/noninvasive monitoring Provide post-anesthesia care and discharge instructions Education and Experience: Graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs Eligible for medical malpractice insurance as required by regional regulations Licensure and Certifications: Current registered nurse licensure in the applicable state Compliance with all relevant state statutory and regulatory requirements
