Collaborate intimately with radiologists and referring physicians, ensuring optimal diagnostic quality. Manage imaging equipment proficiently, addressing any malfunctions swiftly and accurately. Document procedures meticulously and maintain comprehensive patient records using electronic medical systems. Education Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field. A CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred. Certifications Required Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
