Provide educational resources for patients and families to support progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring comprehensive care throughout the treatment spectrum. Uphold meticulous documentation practices that comply with regulatory and organizational standards. Engage in continuous learning by staying up-to-date with professional advancements and collaborative learning opportunities. Education Earned a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for candidates not yet holding ASHA certification. Certifications Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment. Skills Deep understanding of evidence-based practices across all age groups, specifically regarding developmental and acquired communication difficulties. Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
