Project Executive Wastewater Treatment Location: Cincinnati, Ohio A nationally respected, employee-owned (ESOP) general contractor is seeking a highly experienced Wastewater Treatment Project Executive to lead and expand its largest water infrastructure work in the Cincinnati region. This is not a traditional operations role. This is a strategic leadership position with a direct seat at the executive table, overseeing major municipal wastewater programs while helping shape regional growth strategy. The Opportunity Executive oversight of large, complex wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and utility infrastructure programs (design-build, CMAR, and negotiated work). Lead the regions flagship water projects and manage P&L performance across multiple programs. Serve as the senior relationship lead with municipal owners, engineering partners, and key stakeholders. Drive preconstruction strategy, risk mitigation, staffing, and long-term market positioning. Mentor and develop senior project managers and operations leaders within the water group. This role represents a clear and defined pathway toward Senior Executive / Regional Executive / C-Suite leadership within a nationally recognized contractor. Who Were Looking For 15+ years of progressive leadership in municipal wastewater treatment construction. Proven executive oversight of projects ranging from $50M$400M+. Deep understanding of treatment processes, heavy civil scopes, mechanical systems, and self-perform capabilities. Experience leading large project teams and managing regional P&L responsibility.
