Position Overview: DaVita is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute (Hospital) Dialysis team in the Plano/Frisco area. As an Acute Dialysis RN, you will play a vital role in delivering life-saving care to patients within a hospital setting. Whether you have experience in dialysis or are new to the specialty, we offer comprehensive training to support your success. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized nephrology care in hospital settings, including ICU, CCU, ED, and Med-Surg units. Oversee and manage patient care, collaborating with a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians. Deliver dialysis treatments, including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and Apheresis. Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and ensure proper setup and operation of dialysis machines. Work in a dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to patient needs and changing schedules. Participate in on-call rotations as required by the hospital system. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) is preferred. Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med-Surg settings is a plus but not required. Flexible schedule to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
