Delivery Driver / Yard Attendant

White Star Machinery is an authorized dealer of new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment including skid steers, track loaders, compact excavators, telehandlers, and utility vehicles. White Star Machinery - Topeka is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver / Yard Attendant to join our team! No CDL require this will be a Truck and Trailer. A clean Motor Vehicle Report is a must! Dayshift Hours Monday-FridayResponsibilities Loading, hauling, and unloading of equipment and components. Maintain good working records for time and distance, and all regulatory records as directed. Maintain and care for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles. Preparing equipment which includes, Washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs. Assisting customers and store which includes, helping with all departments of the store. Sweeping and cleaning which includes, helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay when needed, trash disposal Additional general labor as assigned Qualifications Working knowledge of equipment operations is a plus High school or equivalent Loading and unloading construction equipment. Valid driver's license in good standing Physical Requirements Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment. Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp, or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
