Commercial Frontload Driver (Opa Locka FL)

Waste Connections Company has an immediate opening for a Front Load Driver at our Hauling site in Opa Locka, FL . The position will be responsible for driving a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.Pay Range: $25-30+/hr. DOEKey Responsibilities: Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. Utilize electronic route sheets to ensure timely and efficient waste collection. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and the community. Perform a physically demanding job, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy loads. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Requirements: Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) . 2+ years minimum commercial driving experience . At least 2 years of stable work history , with your most recent position being a CDL driver Able to lift 50+ pounds Clean driving record for the last 5 years Ability to operate a garbage truck safely and efficiently. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform a physically demanding job, including lifting and loading waste.
