Job DescriptionThe Opportunity Homecare Homebase (HCHB) is seeking a Data & Automation Analyst 2 to join our Intelligent Automation team. In this role, you'll build and maintain Dataverse data structures, develop Power BI dashboards, write custom SQL reports, and support automation-related data flows that enable scalable, insight-driven operations. The Challenge You will partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into trusted data products-well-designed Dataverse tables, accurate reporting datasets, and intuitive dashboards. You'll balance multiple requests, ensure data quality, and deliver reporting and automation-ready data solutions that drive measurable outcomes. What You'll Be Responsible For: Design, build, and maintain Dataverse tables (schema, relationships, data standards, and documentation) to support reporting and automation use cases Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards (data modeling, DAX measures, visuals, performance tuning, and publishing) Write and maintain custom SQL queries and reports to support operational and analytical needs Support automation data flows (data movement, transformations, refresh reliability, and monitoring) in partnership with the Intelligent Automation team Gather, clarify, and document requirements; translate them into scalable reporting and data solutions Perform validation and testing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of dashboards and reports Create and maintain documentation (data definitions, report logic, refresh schedules, and support runbooks) Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners, analysts, engineers, and automation developers to deliver end-to-end solutions Demonstrate strong ownership, prioritize effectively, and meet delivery timelines while maintaining quality standards What We're Looking For Required 3+ years of experience in analytics/reporting, BI, or data automation support roles Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, aggregations, query optimization, validation) Strong experience building dashboards in Power BI (data modeling and DAX) Experience designing or working with Dataverse tables and relationships (or equivalent relational modeling experience with the ability to ramp quickly) Ability to translate business requirements into data models, reports, and dashboards Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to testing and data validation Clear communication skills and comfort working directly with stakeholders Preferred Experience with Tableau (building and/or migrating dashboards) Familiarity with data integration/ETL concepts and scheduled refresh patterns Experience supporting automation initiatives (e.g., reporting for automation, operational metrics, data pipelines feeding automations) Healthcare, home health, or hospice industry experience Education Bachelor's degree preferred (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
