Description: The Catering Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all catering functions within our organization. This role includes managing order taking, scheduling drivers, food preparation, and ensuring the catering department remains clean and organized. You will have daily interactions with guests and work closely with outside customers as well. As a Catering Operations Supervisor, you will ensure the preparation, presentation, and service of our exceptional food meets high standards. Close collaboration with catering staff and restaurant managers is essential. Key Responsibilities: Take and modify orders over the phone using the POS system Input online orders into the POS Address customer concerns with manager's approval Schedule deliveries for catering staff Prepare and begin food baking/preparation Assemble catering items into baskets, trays, and bowls Deliver orders either by vehicle or on foot Oversee breakfast and lunch preparation Carry out clean-up tasks Manage trash disposal as required Distribute tips to staff daily Implement Catering Sales initiatives, including: Daily follow-ups with customers Delivery of menus Coordination of community events Conducting menu presentations and food tastings Identify sales opportunities through active networking Perform secondary duties as needed such as Expo, Cashier, Dishwasher, and Line Cook Maintain attractive front-of-house displays and condiment stations Check and clean bathrooms Bus tables and prepare food according to specifications Ensure accuracy in cash flow and financial transactions Organize food for delivery to guests Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, or actively pursuing it Must complete CBC driver training, pass MVR standards, and maintain a valid driver's license with insurance State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as required Preferably, a minimum of 3 months experience in guest service, preferably in a restaurant or retail setting Proficient in MS Office and POS systems Strong guest service and communication skills Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are required Additional Information: We are an Equal Opportunity / E-Verify Employer.
