A skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise is needed to provide exceptional patient care in a Level 1 or 2 trauma environment. Location:Situated in Hartford, CT, this role allows you to engage with a diverse patient population in a vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural attractions. Schedule/Hours: 36 hours per week Every other week (EOW) 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts (night shift) Qualifications and Experience: Current RN licensure with experience in Emergency Room nursing Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and either PALS or ENPC Proven experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma care Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to manage high-acuity patients efficiently and compassionately Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions Triage and stabilize trauma patients quickly and effectively Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards This contract role allows you to make a meaningful impact in emergency nursing while benefiting from flexible scheduling in a respected hospital environment.
