Warehouse Associate (Food Distribution, Cold Chain)

Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: Premier Food Supplies, Michigan Job Type: Full-Time, Day Shift (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday) Position Summary: We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate and timely handling of inventory and shipments. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, and committed to supporting smooth warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer and internal orders Load and unload with manual or delivery trucks using equipment Maintain organized and clearly labeled inventory storage areas Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies Follow established safety protocols and warehouse procedures Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free of hazards Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by the Warehouse Manager Working Conditions: Climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled warehouse environments. Exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery. Previous experience in cold, freezing, or hot warehouse temperatures. (Preferred but not required).
