Senior Contracts Manager You will be the Senior Contracts Manager for the Contracts Management team. Our team is responsible for delivering contract excellence that powers the Precision Fires munitions portfolio within the Tactical Missiles line of business. As the Senior Contracts Manager you will be responsible for leading a high-performing contracts group that supports Precision Fires development, production, and related U.S. Government agreements. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Shape the future of SR/ER GMLRS proposals by capturing follow-on business and developing next-generation leaders. Build effective relationships with internal and external customers to secure win-win outcomes. Implement growth-focused business strategies and devise creative negotiation approaches. Lead, train, and mentor the Contracts team across the full cradle-to-grave contract lifecycle-from capture through award, execution, closeout, and audit. Provide contractual advice and coordinate with program management, finance, legal, supply-chain, and engineering to ensure compliant and timely contract actions. The position will require onsite work >50% of the time and occasional travel is required. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Basic Qualifications: Must be an experienced leader Experience providing strategic and sound business advice to senior leadership Experience with multiple types of contracts and OTAs, for example: CPFF, T&M, FPIF or FFP; as well as domestic and International DCS Experience leading contract negotiations and identifying contractual risks / understanding the financial implications Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and strategically with functional and program counterparts to drive business results Knowledge and documented application of acquisition regulations (FAR & DFARS) Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. Desired Skills: Experience negotiating and managing complex development and production contracts Proven ability to develop trusted partnerships with internal and external customers Extensive negotiation experience and knowledge of Precision Fires Munitions portfolio Experience in strategy development for new captures Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, financing payments, etc. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Experience working autonomously with general direction Experience handling multiple, widely-varied assignments Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Experience problem solving, including identifying issues and developing solutions Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure Demonstrates emotional intelligence, positivity, and enthusiasm leading a team and working collaboratively with key stakeholders during a project Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
