Night Auditor We are looking to add a Night Auditor to our team. This position is for someone who thrives while others sleep, is comfortable owning guest opportunities and enjoys working when it's quiet. The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the smooth and secure overnight operations of the resort while delivering exceptional guest service. This role combines front desk responsibilities with daily financial reconciliation to support the resort's overall efficiency. Working independently during the overnight ours, the Night Auditor manages late check-ins, address guest inquiries and maintains a welcoming environment that reflects the resort's high standard of hospitality. In addition to guest service, the Night Auditor performs end-of-day financial procedures, including balancing accounts, preparing reports and verifying transactions ensuring accuracy in the property management system. This position plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of the resorts financial records and supporting the success of the front office team. Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Free Associate Parking Free Meal for every shift worked Employer Provided Uniforms 25% Discount in Resort Outlets Hotel Discounts with OPL Friends and Family Discount Responsibilities Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts Processes guest charges voucher and credit card vouchers Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts Checks to see that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments To verify that all transactions performed at the front desk are supported by documentary evidence and signatures as necessary and that they have been correctly posted and allocated into PMS system To verify that all charges posted from the POS Software, SPA software had reached the correct guest folios and also not missing Prints up and files reservations for the next business day Verifies all account postings and balances Verifies that room rates are correct and posts those rates to guest accounts Monitors the current status of coupon, discount, and other promotional programs Is able to function as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities Summarizes results of operations for management Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information Prepare of End of day procedure Follow the End of Day / Night Audit Checklist (Must Read !) Balance the day's charges, making corrections as necessary Performs wake-up calls Run end of day process in property management software (PMS) Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed Qualifications Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts Knows how to operate PMS, PC's, and other front office equipments Must have complete knowledge of emergency procedures High school diploma or GED Previous experience is a plus The company also conducts post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks.
